Porcelain Veneers

With porcelain veneers, you can have the gorgeous smile you’ve always wanted – even if your smile is affected by crooked, crowded, chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth. Veneers are tiny porcelain sleeves that are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth to conceal flaws and can completely transform a smile in just two office visits. A smile design expert, Dr. Lee custom-creates each patient’s dental veneers to provide beautiful, one-of-a-kind results.

Placement of Porcelain Veneers

Placing porcelain veneers typically requires two visits to our Fayetteville office: One visit to re-shape the teeth and one to place the veneers. During the first visit, he gently shapes and prepares a small portion of the natural tooth structure to accommodate the dental veneers. Then, he takes molds of the teeth and mouth, which he sends to the dental laboratory that will custom-craft the veneers. The porcelain veneers are crafted over the next two to three weeks, during which time beautiful, natural looking temporary veneers and placed. The patient wears these until the permanent veneers are ready, at which point he or she returns for the second visit. During this visit, Dr. Lee gently removes the temporary veneers. He then bonds the permanent veneers to the teeth and assures their fit with the surrounding teeth and bite. Once in place, veneers can last for many years with proper homecare and professional hygiene follow up appointments.
